Qualifications & Requirements
Our ideal candidate will have a four year college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Math, and a minimum of 5 plus years of work experience in a law firm or 10 plus years of work experience in other professional services environments. Must be proficient in the use of a 10 key calculator and possess a strong working knowledge of Lotus Notes, Excel and Word.
Essential Job Functions
Our San Francisco office is currently seeking a Billing Assistant to support the coordination and active administration of all facets of the billing and collection function. The position requires the active support of the preparation of client invoices and the monitoring and follow-up on those invoices after they are sent. These responsibilities would include working with the senior billing assistant, billing attorney and responsible attorneys to pro-actively administer their billing responsibilities, actively monitoring the status of multiple matters, coordinating the preparation and processing of timely and high quality invoices, monitoring and supporting the follow-up on outstanding receivables.
